Lab Director

Christian Luhmann (CV)

Christian is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at Stony Brook University and is affiliated with both the Center for Behavioral Political Economy and the Center for Behavioral Finance. His work investigates decision making and learning using a variety of methods including behavioral experiments and computational modeling.

PhD Students

Pei-Pei Liu (CV)

Pei-Pei is a sixth-year graduate student. She is interested in the cognitive processes that underlie learning.

Michael Bixter (CV)

Michael is a fifth-year graduate student. He is interested in the psychological processes that underlie economic and financial decision-making.

Elizabeth Trimber (CV)

Elizabeth is a fourth-year graduate student. She is interested in the interaction between cognition and emotion.

Kodi Arfer

Kodi is a fourth-year graduate student. He is interested in motivational influences on decision-making and Bayesian data analysis.

Vasiliy Safin (CV)

Vasiliy is a fourth-year graduate student primarily working in the lab of Howie Rachlin. He is interested in decision-making.
