HOW TO FIND US

Heading towards Stony Brook, on the LIE:

Take the LIE towards Stony Brook. Take Exit 62 North: 97/Nicolls RD. Continue north, eventually crossing Route 25, and later crossing Route 347.

Take a left at the 4th stop light past (north of) Route 347. The sign will say Stony Brook/Main Entrance/West campus.

Follow the directions below under “...continued...”

Heading towards Stony Brook, on Route 347/Nesconset Highway:

Take Route 347/Nesconset Highway towards Stony Brook.

Go north on 97/Nicolls RD (a left if heading east; a right if heading west).

Take a left at the 4th stop light. The sign will say Stony Brook/Main Entrance/West campus.

Heading towards Stony Brook on Route 25A:

Take Route 25A towards Stony Brook.

Go south on 97/Nicolls RD (can only go one way, but it’s a right if heading east; a left if heading west).

Take a right at the 2nd stop light. The sign will say Stony Brook/Main Entrance/West campus.

Take a left at the first stop sign.

Go past the next stop sign.

Park in the garage just ahead on your left. ($1.50 / hour)

When you come out of the garage, there are 3 buildings adjacent to the garage. We are located in the tallest one, which is a 7-story building named Social & Behavioral Sciences—it’s south of the garage.

Walk into the building on the first floor and head towards the center. We’re on the opposite side of the building from that near the garage. You will see a sign saying “Point of Woods Laboratory”. Follow the arrow down the hall. Our room is S-147, the last room on the right.
