Dr. Susan O’Leary is an excellent advisor. She is supportive
and encourages her students to constantly learn. Dr. O’Leary provides her
advisees with exceptional guidance while they conduct research that they have conceptualized. I thoroughly
enjoy having the opportunity to develop and work on my own research projects
with the advice and help of Dr. O’Leary and my lab mates. If you are looking
for an independent but supportive setting in which to study topics related to
early childhood externalizing disorders, you should apply to work with Dr.
O’Leary.
◊
Stony Brook’s Psychology Department is an excellent
place to be and to receive your training in clinical psychology. It is both
challenging and rewarding. The program is well-rounded; providing students with
research, clinical, academic, and teaching experiences.
