“Translational research in the behavioral and social sciences addresses how basic behavioral processes inform the diagnosis, prevention, treatment, and delivery of services for mental illness, and, conversely, how knowledge of mental illness increases our understanding of basic behavioral processes.”

Cheryl Van Dyke, MSW

Cheryl is a Clinical Research Associate II at the University. She has been with the FTRG since 1996. As the FTRG continues to expand its research efforts, Cheryl finds herself ever busy in her role as lab manager. Cheryl has her MSW from Stony Brook and has a strong research interest in the processes of help seeking.
